Please can you advise how many students you can take mountain biking on your own with this qualification ?
Also how often do you need to refresh your qualification?

    Many Thanks

Hi Joanna. Qualification need to be refreshed every three years (This is just a paper excercise) and is free if you keep up membership. MIAS operates a 1:10 ratio with an assistant leader, however with your risk assessment this figure may reduce with the ability of the group weather conditions and terrain. Hi, I have been a MIAS l2 leader for four years so aware that my qualification ran out Feb last year. How do I go about doing the reassessment and how much does it cost? All of my work has been within the MOD and due to postings being a bit grim lately requalifying has been bottom of my list of responsibilities of late.
But now in a place where I am able to consider reassessment.
    Thanks for any advice
    Paul
